Anushka appeared as a Punjabi girl who was from middle class in the movie named 'Band Baaja Baraat. The film featured her alongside Ranveer. It was a surprise hit with a lot of praise. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
